Getting to Gothenburg ferry port:
 

The terminal building, called Kajskjul 107, is situated in Frihamnen on Hisingen. It is opposite the Opera House and the large shopping center called Nordstan.

By Car:

From the city center via the Göta Älv bridge:
Be in the right hand lane. Follow signs towards Hisingen. As you get off the bridge take the first exit on the right, follow signs to Frihamnen and then signs to DFDS Seaways.
From E6/E20 South through the Tingstadstunnel:
Follow signs towards Oslo. As you exit the tunnel follow signs towards Öckerö. Take the exit at Hjalmar Brantingsmotet. Turn right and follow signs to Frihamnen. At the traffic lights turn right and follow signs to DFDS Seaways.
From E6 North:
Drive towards the Tingstadstunnel and turn right before the tunnel following signs towards Öckerö. Take the exit at Hjalmar Brantingsmotet. Turn right and follow signs to Frihamnen. At the traffic lights turn right and follow signs to DFDS Seaways.

 
By Tram:

Trams no.2, 4 or 5. Exit at tram stop Frihamnen. Walk up the stairs and turn right. Walk straight ahead until you see DFDS Seaways sign leading towards the terminal building (Kajskjul 107). It takes approx 10 minutes to walk.

 
By Bus:
Bus Numbers 31, 34, 40, 41, 85. Bus stop Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen. Here you change to tram number 2, 4 or 5 or you walk to the terminal building. Walk back towards the city centre. It takes approx 15 minutes to walk.
 
By Train:
From the Central Station you can catch a tram or a bus. Please see directions above.
