Mallaig Ferry Port

Mallaig and its port have a long history, with the town’s name originating from the Old Norse meaning for ‘Bay of the Seabirds’.

Set in stunning surroundings, the local railway station is the terminus of the West Highland Line which was used in the ‘Harry Potter’ films as the Hogwarts Express railway line.

The port of Mallaig is situated at the northern end of the A380, known as ‘the Road to the Isles’, and provides frequent sailings to Armadale on the Isle of Skye.

Free car parking is available outside the terminal building and the nearest bus stop is just a five-minute walk away. Inside the building, you’ll find a seated waiting area with toilet facilities.
