Oslo Ferry port - Oslo Ferries information
Oslo is the capital of Norway and is the natural hub of Norway's national and international travel.

The city is beautifully situated at the head of Oslo Fjord surrounded by forested ridges, and this very location gives Oslo unexpected qualities for a national capital.

First-time visitors to Oslo are surprised by the wide range of restaurants and entertainment the capital has to offer.

Oslo is full of interesting sights, with many museums, parks and urban districts with listed buildings and a well-developed array of shops. Oslo is a concentrated city and most of the sights are within walking distance of each other or only a short journey on public transport.

Getting to Oslo ferry port:
By Car – via E6/E18, Coming from Mosseveien or the North:

Follow the E6 towards "Oslo S" / Oslo Sentrum until you see a road sign with a ferry symbol and the names "København", "Helsingborg" and "Fredrikshavn". Continue in this direction until you reach a large roundabout above the E6. Keep left at the roundabout and continue to follow the road sign to the ferries. Soon you will pass a big pink building on your right hand side and then you will approach a new roundabout.

Passengers travelling with a vehicle who have a prepaid ticket may drive straight over the roundabout towards the signs "bil innsjekk"/car check-in".

Passengers leaving their car in Oslo, or do not hold a prepaid ferry ticket must turn right and drive towards the large grain silo/elevator. A new sign will appear after about 150 metres, leading you to the terminal building. The terminal has both "DFDS Seaways" and "Stena Line" logos on the wall.

By Car – via E18, Coming from Drammensveien:

Follow the E18 towards "Oslo S" / Oslo Sentrum, pass Colorline's terminal – "Hjortneskaia" and go through the tunnel - "Festningstunnellen". Keep right and exit by the ferry sign. After the tunnel, keep left and turn left at the crossroads at the end of the tunnel towards "Vippetangen".

Passengers travelling with a vehicle who have a prepaid the ticket may keep to the left, and go "back" the same direction as where you came from in a parallel street. (Do not turn in towards the ferry terminal) Continue about 150 m and take right in the roundabout towards bil innsjekk" / "car-check-in"

Passengers leaving their car in Oslo, or do not hold a prepaid your ticket must move on to the large grain silo/elevator and will find the terminal building on your left hand side. The terminal has both "DFDS Seaways" and "Stena Line" logos on the wall.

 
By Bus – To and from The Central Station/Oslo S and Vippetangen:
Take bus No.60 - Vippetangen, from Oslo S to Vippetangen. The bus stops outside "Jernbanetorvets Apotek" – the Central station's pharmacy, opposite to the entrance of the shopping mall "Byporten". The bus departs approximately every 20 minutes and takes approximately 5 minutes to Vippetangen, (or "Fiskehallen") which is the last stop.

Bus No.60 returns from Vippetangen, The bus depart approximately every 20 minutes also in this direction. The Bus departs approximately 15 minutes after the ship has docked.
 
By foot:

If you choose to walk to the terminal, turn left when facing Karl Johan street and walk towards "Havnelageret" which is a large pink building.

Cross over the E18 after approximately 150 metres, by using one of the crossing walkway bridges. From the bridge you will to see our ship, and the signs marked with "Gangvei til fergene" / "Walkway towards the ships".

If you are situated in the area of Akerbrygge, follow the seaside road that leads around the large fortress.

Both walks will take you approximately 15 – 20 minutes.
