How To Get To Belfast Ferry Port

  • Belfast Ferry Port by Car for Stena Line and Seacat

    COMING IN FROM THE M3 (From Bangor, Newtownards, East Belfast areas): Follow the gantry signs for M3 Stay in the lane marked "THE WEST, THE SOUTH" and again at the next gantry marked "THE WEST, THE SOUTH, DOCKS(S)"Follow the gantries for ' DOCKS, YORK STREET ' staying in the right hand lane. At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right and move to the left hand lane Just past Yorkgate Leisure Complex/Harry Ramsdens (on your left) turn right at the traffic lights & go under the bridge, stay in the left lane on through the lights along "DOCK STREET"' to the "PORT OF BELFAST" sign. COMING IN FROM THE M2 (From the North to Belfast): Follow the gantry signs for Belfast marked 'M2 BELFAST' Ignore the signs for 'DOCKS(N), FORTWILLIAM' Follow the gantry signs for 'DOCKS, CITY CENTRE', moving to the left hand lane This exit (1B) off the M2 will take you left into Duncrue Street Stay in the Left Lane and then at the next traffic lights turn left into the off slip, opposite the 'Stella Maris' building. COMING IN FROM THE M1 (From the South, including Dublin, to Belfast): At the very end of the M1 follow the signs for 'THE DOCKS' through the Broadway Roundabout and onto the Westlink. Follow the gantry signs marked 'M2, THE DOCKS, AIRPORT/THE NORTH' Keep in to the left hand lane at the traffic lights nearing the end of the Westlink and then turn left at these traffic lights into York Street and move across to the right hand lane. Just past Yorkgate Leisure Complex/Harry Ramsdens (on your left), turn right at the traffic lights and go under the bridge. Stay in the left lane through the lights along 'DOCK STREET' to the 'PORT OF BELFAST' sign.

  • Beflast Ferry Port by Car for Norfolkline Irish Sea Services

    From the M2 motorway take the exit no. 2 signposted Fortwilliam, Belfast Harbour & Duncrue Industrial Estates. Follow the signs to the Industrial Estates into Dargan Road. Pass the security check into the Harbour area and continue straight ahead past the first set of traffic lights. At the 2nd set of lights, turn left for Victoria terminal 1. For Victoria terminal 2 turn left at the third set of lights.

  • Belfast Ferry Port by Bus

    The Laganside Bus Terminal is a five minute walk away from the Seacat Passenger Terminal.

  • Belfast Ferry Port by Rail

    The majority of trains call at Great Victoria Street Station in the centre of Belfast, with the exception of trains from Dublin and Larne which terminate at Belfast Central Station near the Waterfront Hall on East Bridge Street. From Central Station you can hop on a connecting train to Great Victoria Street Station. Belfast Central Railway Station is a fifteen minute walk from the Seacat Terminal. Taxis meet most arrivals. If one is not available please use the free phone in the terminal.

  • Belfast Ferry Port Parking

    Short term parking facilities for set down and pick up are available at the Seacat Terminal. Longer term parking is available in a Pay and Display car park operated by Belfast Harbour Commissioners. Both long and short term parking is available at the Stena Line terminal at a rate of £5 per 24hrs. You must keep your ticket with you and pay before returning to your vehicle. A pay station is located in the arrivals area, or you may pay at the guest services desk onboard Stena Voyager, if arriving into Belfast ferry port.

Belfast is Northern Ireland's principal passenger ferry port with more than a million ferry passengers passing through annually. Isle of Man ferries arrive and depart at Albert Quay while Stena Line services use the Victoria terminal. With numerous ferry services operating daily and over night, Belfast port provides an excellent gateway between Northern Ireland and England, Scotland and the Isle of Man. The port is easy to access from the city centre and is well connected by motorway to the rest of Northern Ireland.
