I thought that the overall service was very good, and the ship was clean, the staff friendly and helpful.

Reviewed 21 January 2015 by Stanley

WE HAD A BAD WEATHER CROSSING WITH A FEW DELAYS BUT THE STAFF WERE VERY CURTIOUS AND KEPT US WELL INFORMED AND WHEN WE EVENTUALLY GOT AWAY THEY TOLD US WE WOULD ARRIVE PORTSMOUTH 06-00 WHICH WE DULY DID.THE SHIP WAS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, THE FACILITYS WERE ADEQUATE, THE FOOD LOOKED GOOD AND TASTY AT A REASONABLE PRICE ALTHOUGH WE DID NOT GET TO TRY ANY BECAUCE OF THE SEA CONDITIONS. YES I WILL BOOK THIS SHIP AGAIN THE ECONOMIE PRICE IS VERY GOOD COMPARED TO A DRIVE AND STOPOVERS IN FRANCE. I WOULD DEFINATLY RECOMMEND THIS SHIP TO MY FREINDS. BOOKIMG A CABIN IS A MUST DO

"Christmas break."

Reviewed 14 January 2015 by Ann and Geoffrey MEARS

Despite not being able to travel to the uk for over a year, my wife and I were really looking forward to this trip. We were not disappointed. Despite the rough seas the AMORIQUE was a steady boat and a pleasure to be on board. We had travelled on the NORMANDIE previously and felt very much at home. The start and end of our holiday was as good as the family holiday we had in between. A pleasure to travel on Brittany Ferries again. Thank you

"HAPPY HOLIDAY"

Reviewed 09 January 2015 by Antony R. O'Hagan

My wife and I chose to travel from Portsmouth to Bilbao on the Cap Finistere from 21st to 23rd December because we wanted to enjoy the two night voyage and the comfort of a Club Class cabin. We were not disappointed. The ship was well appointed, the crew were most welcoming and the restaurants provided excellent meals. In all, we very much enjoyed our voyage on the Cap Finistere and would certainly wish to repeat the experience sometime in the future.

Brittany Ferries offer a wide selection of ferry routes to Western France and Northern Spain as well as a ferry service between France and Ireland.
Brittany Ferries ferry services are operated by their ship - ‘Pont Aven’. Find out what it’s like onboard by visiting our Pont Aven page.

When you sail with Brittany Ferries your destination port is more than just a port. Each of their destinations possesses its own character and is normally full of life with great places to shop, drink and eat.

Brittany Ferries offer a service which is centred on their luxury cruise ferries, which means your holiday starts the minute you step on board the ship.

The entertainment is varied and the food is French cuisine which of course has a great reputation. You can also shop in the many boutiques, or relax in your accommodation, which they have tried to make as comfortable and luxurious as they can.

On longer trips such as between England and Spain the cabin that you get can make a massive difference. Getting a cabin allows you privacy during the day along with a place to keep your belongings safe and by night provides you with a comfortable place to sleep.

Brittany Ferries also operate a no-frills service called Brittany Ferries économie on the Portsmouth Le Havre and Santander routes. The économie service is ideal for those who wish to travel to France or Spain at a very reasonable fare without either the cruise-style experience provided on other ships or the speed afforded by Normandie Express. Brittany Ferries économie uses the Etretat ferry.
