  • "Cancellation of our return ferry spoiled our plans"

    Our trip to Guernsey from Jersey was relatively trouble free although our ferry was around 20 minutes late in departing. It made up the time in the crossing and arrived almost on time in Guernsey. The seating was very comfortable and there were lots of services on board for food and drink and also for duty free shopping. Unfortunately our return crossing was much less trouble free: our ferry was cancelled due to high winds across the English channel. This cost us quite dearly i.e. we had to forfeit the cost of our hotel room for one night when we were forced to leave the island a day earlier than we had intended.

    This was my first time of being on a catamaran and the trip was most enjoyable and comfortable, as well as being a very quick way for going from A to B. I can not comment on the catering aspect because I did not use the facilities.
