| | Access to the edge of the city is via the M6/M62 or the M58. From the M62, follow the signs to the City Centre and then Pier Head signs to the Princes Landing Stage. From the M58 follow the A5036 and then the A565 to the Pier Head. From North Wales, take the M53, then the Wallasey Tunnel & the A59 to the Pier Head.

| | Mainline trains pull in to Lime Street station - approximately 2 miles from the Seacat Terminal at the Princes Landing Stage. Please allow up to 60 minutes for transfer between the station & the Pier head by bus or taxi. The suburban Merseyrail system (for trains from Chester) calls at four underground stations in the city, including Lime Street. James Street station (600m) has frequent local services to and from the Wirral line and Chester. For Birkenhead, the nearest rail station is located at Hamilton Square in Birkenhead. It is within walking distance of Norse Merchant Ferries Terminal via Canning Street, which is left of the station exit.
