Cebu Port is the largest domestic port in the Philippines; situated on the east coast it borders the Mactan Channel, a narrow strait between Cebu and the Mactan Islands. Cebu Port belongs in Cebu City, the oldest city of the Philippines and the country’s first capital. Over the years it has transcended into a hub of activity, with many tourists flocking over to witness its historic monuments and stunning architecture. Being a purely domestic port, Cebu Port only serves to other islands belonging to the Philippines. Five companies are in operation from Cebu Port, all offering daily crossings to Bohol Island Port, Cagayan De Oro Port, Danao Port and Ilo-ilo Port. Each ferry route runs around one or two times per day, typically leaving in the early morning and lasting for around two hours. Cebu Port is popular among passengers for its recently renovated canteen area and free Wi-Fi for customers.
Puerto Princesa is found in the western province of Palawan, am archipelago belonging to the Philippines. The ferry routes departing the port are to popular tourist resorts in the Philippines, often used by travellers embarking on day trips before returning the next day.
