"Ferry trip to Netherlands"
Cabins comfortable. Staff helpful. Book your evening meal time in advance as on day you will be left with really early or very late and nothing in between. Delayed on way back due IT issues. Water bottles distributed whilst we were delayed boarding.

"A nice way to travel"
We've used this crossing 4 times now, once with someone's dog too. The service is efficient and punctual, well organised and with no administrative problems. Friendly staff. The ship and cabins are clean and everything works like it should. Even when busy it is possible to have plenty of space from other people if Covid is a concern. You can get a decent sleep (sea state depending!) Overall DFDS provide a very good service on this route.

First time I've travelled this way on an overnight ferry. Absolutely loved it, we were over for a football match. It helps when the weather was so nice I suppose, so we spent the first part of our journey on the the deck. Having a few beers in the sun. Later on we ended up in the night club lounge where there was live music and a DJ. Food was good also, we tried the buffet on our journey back. The cabins were clean and had comfortable beds, and the ship throughout was clean , with all staff and crew very friendly. We travelled on Wednesday evening and came back from Amsterdam Friday evening arriving back in Newcastle on the Saturday morning. We booked pretty late so prices were more expensive than would have been if booked well in advance. So plenty of good deals. Definitely using DFDS again and another short break back to the Netherlands.

"A pleasant, rather expensive, trip across the Channel"
Odd boarding for a motorcycle. I have been on other ferries, with a bike. There was always a special area for them, and I think that also made use of space more efficiantly. This time, bikes all over the place. I paid in advace for meals. My waiter had a difficult time understanding that I HAD paid in advance. I finally showed the payment reciept on my cell phone. Despite the fact that I paid in advance for dinner...drinks - not even water - were not included. $655...and no drinks with dinner.

A very relaxing journey with attentive staff and lovely comfortable cabin . The only fly in the ointment was being expected to pay €5 per hour for WiFi after paying €396.00 for a single journey tic

"Cabin allocation just daft"
Travelled under very strict covid regulations which meant there were no facilities open and we were asked to remain in our cabin as much as possible. Why then on a ferry which is nowhere near its capacity would they allocate cabins which sounded and felt like we were in the engine room. Anything to do with not booking through dfds?

"All very good despite Covid and Brexit"
Not our first trip but first for 3 years. While bar and restaurant services were reduced the trip was still fine. We took some food and a bottle of wine and had that in the cabin. Bar was open on this outbound trip and we managed a couple of drinks. Ship was very quiet and trip went quickly. Staff were as every cheery and very helpful.

"Nice overnight trip"
Thank you for nice ferry trip. Cabin was very clean, spacious, clean; beds comfy; bathroom immaculate. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances all facilities were closed during this trip and dinner / breakfast service were made on take away basis. We will definately be coming back.
