Fethiye Rhodes Ferry reviews

  • "The ferry operator was good but directferries sent me to the wrong port."

Dodecanese Flying Dolphins was a good and easy service. Unfortunately on my booking confirmation, directferries.co.uk displayed the wrong location for catching the ferry. This made for a stressful situation where I barely made it in time for the trip!!! 5 stars for the ferry operator. 1 star for directferries :/

  • "Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time"

Dodecanese Flying Dolphins Is the best way to travel to between Rhodes and Fethiye. It's Fast, efficient and amazing customer service however I can not say the same thing about Directferries.co.uk. In fact they are a classic example of ”computer days no”. He even suggested that I should have amend or cancel the booking I made 10 minutes ago 15 days ago. My recomendation is book direct with the ferry company direct and they will do any change to your booking without costing you a fortune.

Fethiye Guide

Fethiye is a city of Mugla Province in the Aegean region of Turkey, often referred to as “the untouched virgin of the Land of Lights”.

With a seaside location on Turkey’s “sunshine coast” and some of the most beautiful beaches of the Aegean region, Fethiye is one of Turkey’s best known tourist centres and is especially popular during the summer season. The town has a population of 50,000 which increases dramatically from April to the end of October.

Fethiye was also centre of prophecy and one of the most cultivated cities of the Roman and Byzantine periods. However, earthquakes have left the city with some unrestored ancient ruins, along with the dramatic Tomb of Amyntas and its beautiful carvings.

With 300 days of sunshine a year, fantastic sailing experiences, wonderful food and great places to visit, Fethiye is the perfect holiday destination for everyone.

Rhodes Guide

The Greek island of Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese group of islands and is a popular destination for tourists, especially as it has around 300 days of sunshine every year. The island lies in the eastern Aegean Sea and is to the north of the island of Crete and to the south east of Athens. The island has all the facilities to make it the popular tourist destination that it has become and includes a beautiful coastline and has plenty of culture and a lively nightlife.

The island's main town, Rhodes Town, is very charming and visitors will see enormous medieval fortifications and narrow alleys that are simply full of character. However, the island's beaches are perhaps the biggest attraction and is what makes it so popular. many of the island's beaches are located on the eastern shore and Lindos stands out as offering the best stretch of sand and pebbles and is close to the Megali Paralia.

Rhodes is connected by ferry with daily services to Piraeus, by conventional and high speed boats. During the summer months Rhodes is also connected with the rest of the Dodecanese islands, along with Crete and Cyclades.
