The port city of Piraeus can be found in the Attica region of Greece along the east coast of the Saronic Gulf about 12 km south west of Athens, the Greek capital. Sitia can be found on the east side of the Geek island Crete. With a population of around 9000, Sitia is a pretty town with a very pleasant sea front lined with cafés and tavernas. It is not really built for tourists even though you will see plenty of them around.
