"Excellent service "
Booked with Direct Ferries. Good price and very easy to use their website and book. Crossing was quick and facilities on-board were good. There was a 40minute delay for the return crossing, never did find out the reason for this.

"Total satisfaction"
we had priority boarding and were literally the first car on board the ferry. We then decided to have 2 English breakfasts. Excellent value for money. There were staff members continually clearing the tables after the passengers had finished their breakfast. We usually travel with another shipping company but will definitely change in the future to P & O.

"An old experience pleasantly revived!"
This was probably the first time we had crossed from Dover on a ferry since Eurotunnel and were very pleasantly surprised. The crossing to Calais is only c1.5 hours and there are plenty of comfortable seats, even in the summer holidays (we returned on August 1). Only real drawback was that while in Dover we "sailed" through passport control etc, coming back in Calais we queued for what seemed at least an hour. This would not stop us using the ferry again, but possibly not in the summer holidays (we are semi-retired, so that's not a problem :)

Was a good trip. The only problem I have is I am not able to access my account, when I try and log on, using the email you sent this message to, it says it is not a valid email. I have tried to contact you but gave up after wait on hold for 15 minutes. Can you fix it or contact me please. Otherwise I will not be able to use you in the future

"Max and paddy road trip"
A long time since I've been on a ferry and things have moved on I was well impressed with the standard of the ship and the staff. A little disappointed that certain viewing areas were off limits but that's probably down to H&S which i fully understand. My only disappointment was the school parties were allowed to run wild around the ship which was annoying the other passengers several times your staff had to intervene to stop them annoying other passengers . A tannoy message was sent a couple of times asking for the leaders to stop their groups from running around .one particular area was the soft toy area where they were throwing items around and parents with toddlers couldn't use it. Myself I had just driven nearly 9 hrs and I was using that 1hr 30 to rest as I had another 4 hrs to go this wasnt possible p&o obviously know the schools especially on the 8pm boarder they should let them know that your staff had to leave there own post ie the bar to stop their actions annoying other people . I would add that your staff handled them selves well and emphasize the H&S issues around their actions and not just ploughing ing tell them to be quiet.. well done PO ill be back !!!!
