"Lovely trip"
It was so lovely trip and I liked the staff
"Excellent Service All Around "
We travelled a return journey from Dublin to Holyhead with Steana Line booked through Irish Ferries for a family holiday to the beautiful Peak District. Booking through Direct Ferries was very easy and the confirmation including text reminders was great. Steana Line on time, easy to drive on and off and facilities excellent. We would book again.
"The return home"
I paid for the upgrade to the Stena lounge which has complementary food and have decided that this is the only way to travel. The staff are great and the added comfort for my journey in tangent with well more than £20.00's worth of food and drink is excellent!
"Dublin to Holyhead "
Overall pleasant experience Positives ; peaceful sailing, well run and pleasant staff Negatives ; no tea bags in the hygge lounge, could do with a normal shop,
"Great trip"
Both ships are lovely…clean and spacious. Staff are very courteous and professional. Duty free prices not too bad but food—which is very good—could be less pricey, especially the cup of tea !

Excellent
"Excellent Service "
Fantastic stress free service, staff and facilities
"Very easy crossing"
Very easy to book and the passenger/ vehicle handling was very efficient. Whilst not a Direct Ferries problem make sure factor in the delay getting out of the port having disembarked. The Holyhead town road infrasrtucture is not geared for the sudden influx of vehilces leaving the ship. hence the delay.
"Fun times couldn't change the weather "
Sauled on a Friday about 40 minutes prior to landing we were told problem with a stabiliser and high winds that couldn't land for abiut 3 hours. Was disappointed but accepted it. Food was provided for passengers during this time. Was due to return Saturday night all sailings cancelled due to bad weather. Rang stwn Saturday morning and the lady in the phone was very helpful and accommodating. Rescheduled sailing to Sunday. Was advised Sunday via text sailing my be delayed. Arrived at the port and the lady dealing with check in was fantastic. Received money voucher for food. Ferry sailed an hour after scheduled but was aware of it. Id definitely said qoth this company again even with delays and bad weather. Staff were very present. Looking forward to my next trip
"Great experience "
Had a great trip.
"Stena."
What a way to travel. NO Standing in Queues waiting to clear security. No luggage restrictions. No sitting with strangers on a cramped seat. No waiting for your luggage to arrive. Great seats, Warm friendly staff, great food. Stena plus great value. Direct ferry top company.
"The longest crossing!!"
On route to Holyhead storm Dennis was on the way, so the 2 hour delay leaving was understandable! But on route back a 6 hour crossing trip (because no docking available in Dublin!!) so we hung off Ireland shores for nearly 2 hours! madness and bad management, why leave Holyhead knowing docking would not be possible in Dublin?? 🙄
"Ferry"
Exclent service
"Staff"
Due to storm ciara and ship cancellations your staff went out of there way to accommodate us
"Review"
Excellent staff and service. Booked a cabin would recommend it. Good value.
"Stena Line trip Jan 19th 2020"
Exellent service. Extremely efficient. Smooth sailing. Good facilities on board. Need to find a way to offer unlimited WiFi!!
"Disappointed "
We boarded the boat yesterday at 14:00 believing we would be in at 16:15. We found out through an announcement that we would not be back into Dublin until 17:15. We double checked the information from direct ferries and it said 16:15. If there was a change in the boat they could have sent a text as we had paid the extra for updates. So I don’t know what the point of that was except an easy money grab. I will spend the difference for Irish ferries in the future.
"Strongly recommend Irish Ferries"
I recently travelled from Dublin to Holyhead with Irish Ferries on the W B Yeats. I upgraded my ticket and found the journey very relaxing and extremely comfortable. I will travel with Irish Ferries in future when travelling by sea.
"Excellent service "
Excellent service, staff were very friendly and happy. Clean and comfortable ships. Would recommend using Stena. Will take them again.
"Travelling to uk"
Had a safe and pleasant journey with stena line. Would highly recommend stena and will definitely be using stena ferries again.
"Recent trip experience "
Excellent ship ,right on time and fully comfortable to travel on.
"Comfortable with kids"
Loved the play area and cinema. Trip felt shorter when the kids were happy out.
"Smooth Trip"
All went well and the crossing was smooth and efficient. The service was excellent Only problem I had was trying to add a passenger to my car! In the end she had to go as a foot passenger and meet me on board! So Stupid - Why??
"Great service"
The day I was departing I got my times mixed up and had to be booked on the evening boat. The young gentleman that helped me was wonderful in sorting my times for departure and returns
"Overall experience"
Got cheapest fare.
"Children’s entertainment "
I traveled to Ireland from the UK with my daughter and Granddaughter. The journey to Holyhead took 61/2 hours and we were delighted to discover a play area with an entertainer encouraging the children making pirate hats eyepatches swords, followed by a movie and further entertainment after the movie. My Granddaughter was absolutely delighted and had a great time, especially as she had to sit Fot 61/2 hours drive. Well done happy children equals happy parents and a grandparents. 5 STARS
"Stena adventurer and superfast x"
Traveled on both the adventurer from Dublin to Holyhead and superfast x on the return journey from Holyhead to Dublin. Both vessels were very clean and comfortable however the lounge at the rear of the adventurer ship the most comfortable of the 2 vessels. The staff were very pleasant frendly and helpful on both vessels. The only major downer was the wifi on the superfast x. The free wifi sessions only last 20 minutes then you have to re log in again very frustrating if you want longer sessions you have to pay for it where as on the adventurer the wifi is free. Apart from this minor issue everything was fine. I will travel with stena line again in the future.
"Best ferry trip ever "
Stena Plus is the way to go! My wife and couldn’t be happier with our experience from the ease of boarding to the experience in the Plus Lounge to the transportation to the train station as we made our way to our next destination. But the most outstanding feature of our voyage was Ricky, one of the Stena folks taking care of us passengers. He is the personification of caring, attentive service. Whatever he is getting paid isn’t enough! Also had the best eggs Benedict possible which is saying something. All in all an experience we will remember fondly and highly recommend to discerning travelers.
"Joke "
Going from Ireland was fine but from Holyhead was a joke. We got to desk to check in at 1:31 and 27 seconds, and got told we are late and can't travel. I would totally understand if we were 10 or 15 mins past check in but it was not only us there were other couples queuing. We had to go with Irish ferries who were sailing at 10 past 2 and still had time to book all people in and transport us to the boat. On arrival at our new boat at 13:59 the Stena ship was already out at sea so that's why they wouldn't let us on they left early. We had also booked a cabin for travelling home direct with Stena and when asked about our money back for this at least we were told "stuff you missed the boat".
