Grandi Navi Veloci Customer Reviews

  • "Poor communication"

Making the ferry booking was straightforward, but the ferry company advised that both outward and return ferries departure times had changed. Direct  only advised that the return departure had been changed. I emailed Direct on their website for confirmation of the outbound departure time about a week ahead of the departure. I received no reply. I phoned Direct on the day of my departure to check the correct departure. The lady I spoke to checked both departure times and confirmed that they had both changed. Furthermore on asking I was advised that I would need new tickets which she issued immediately. Nobody at Direct pointed out that ‘the tickets, we’re not in fact tickets and that you need to go to the ferry operator’s office in a different location to where you check in, in order to obtain a ticket/boarding pass. I only discovered this when a helpful car Marshall pointed out the need to do so. So if everything goes as forecast Direct are fine, but I found them to be unforthcoming when things changed. The ferry crossings were faultless.

  • "My Ibiza trip"

Great trip to Ibiza and back from Valencia, rooms and ship were very clean, punctuality was spot on, not a lot of selection at cafe bar.

  • "A great ride on a very comfortable boat - its like a mini cruise"

Dont waste your time on the reserved seats - there is open seating everything (in early Sept). You can eat, drink, have snacks. walk the upper decks, sit in the comfy chairs watching the water, sleep on any of the side benches, work on computer, read, write, enjoy an oceanview lunch, have some beers, smoke outside. A very lovely experience.
